Quebec Ecole Technologie Superior (ETS) on the track:

ETS team deals with their Lithium-ion-polymer battery pack fire:

ETS car, free of batteries, being checked over:

ETS batteries, smothered in sand on the track. They were cleaned
up
after the race day ended. ETS ultimately lost 1/4 of the battery
pack,
as it was installed in two pieces and each piece was divided in two in
the box.

I never got a still of Mizzou (UM Columbia) but here's a nice movie of the car racing (4 MB).
Minnesota pictures (I don't remember what was being worked on here; MN
deserved the "most battered winner" award for mishaps repaired.)

Minnesota is one organized team! Here's the whiteboard in the
cold
pit, keeping track of where everyone is. The tags down the left
side
show nearly everyone is in the cold pit, as the team works to repair
damage caused by the rear tire blowout. Across the top are
listed
various other places team members are working.
