Welcome to The Sunflower Networking Group at Kansas State University!
Congratulations for Ali Sydney, Dr. Caterina Scoglio and Phillip Schumm for the accepted paper in Bionetics 2008 conference !
This group is comprised of two faculty members and several students of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department who perform research in networking or related areas. Our goals are to conduct theoretical research in the emerging areas as well as apply optimal networking solutions to current and future realistic problems. General areas of interest include networking protocols, architectures, modeling and analysis, security, sensor networks, wireless networks, reliability, and network measurement.

Call for PhD Students
We are looking for strongly motivated PhD students. Preference will be given to those who:
1. Have strong programming skills and math background.
2. Hold an M.S. degree in related programs such as, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science etc.
3. Have research background preferably in networking areas.
• International students need scores of TOEFL and GRE to be accepted to graduate school.

Selected students will be offered a job position as research assistant for the duration of their studies.
