IEEE will be holding a general meeting this Wednesday, September 19 at 6:00 PM to elect new officers for the 2007 school year. Currently, nearly all positions are available, including President, Vice President, and Treasurer. If you would like to become involved in IEEE, this is a great opporotunity! Also, the engineering firm Burns and McDonnell will send representatives to speak about their company and available job positions. Be sure to come by and learn about this fantastic company. Sales have started for EECE Lab Kits for the Fall 2007 Semester. We'll be selling them in RA 2098 for two weeks starting Thursday, August 23. Check with your instructor to see if your class requires a lab kit this semester. For more information you can read our Lab Kits page. Solid State Lighting There will be a seminar on May 7 by Professor Shur from RPI. He will be discussing a his work on solid state lighting. IEEE will be hosting this event. More information will be available closer to the time of the event. |
